About Stevenson Precast Systems
Stevenson Precast Systems Ltd is a concrete precast manufacturing business located in East Tamaki, Auckland. Over the past decade the business has garnered a reputation for producing quality, reliable products for some of Auckland’s larger warehouse and apartment projects. We are one of the largest precast panel manufacturers in New Zealand.
The company was acquired from Hynds in 1996 to provide a downstream market for aggregates from Stevenson’s Drury Quarry. The aggregates are delivered from Stevenson Concrete in the form of ready-mixed concrete, a key raw material for precast. Stevenson Precast currently consume enough ready-mixed concrete to make over 70,000m2 of precast panels per annum from our 4,000m2 under-cover purpose-designed manufacturing facility.
The company produces made-to-order precast concrete for the Auckland commercial construction market, the bulk of which is warehouse panels. Most of the work undertaken is sourced via an open-market tendering process, and is individually priced per job. Our output includes made-to-order industrial and architectural panels as well as columns, beams, piles, balconies and various other precast components. Recent Projects
In the past, precast panels did not generally possess many specific features of note, other than size. Architectural features and shapes are now increasingly being specified for panels to give each building its own particular identity.
