Stevenson Group

Stevenson was established in 1912 and has enjoyed a long-standing and illustrious history in the Auckland region, New Zealand.

Today Stevenson Group remains 100% family-owned. The values that motivated the founder William Alfred Stevenson, still apply today - tenacity, dedication, determination, steadfast loyalty and a strong desire to contribute to deserving causes in the community.
Stevenson continues to make a significant contribution to the development of Auckland's infrastructure and the city's expansion - from the early days of constructing drainage tunnels and dams and building motorways, through to supplying aggregates and concrete products for major projects.

Today the company's focus is in the quarrying, mining and related sectors with quarries in Auckland and the Waikato and contract mining projects in the North & South Islands. Stevenson is careful to continue the tradition of creating a great place to work where talented people, with high standards, can achieve great things for themselves, their customers and for Stevenson.

We still do business the way it used to be done, where a promise really is a promise - and we're proud of that. We work hard to make sure what we do today makes a positive difference tomorrow - for our people, our business, the environment and the communities we work in.
We currently employ around 500 people, mainly in the Auckland region but with a significant number of staff based in the Waikato and the South Island, in addition to our farming operation near Taupo.
