Steve Ellis
General Manager Stevenson Resources, Aggregates Division

Steve is based at Stevenson Resources at the award-winning Drury Quarry. Stevenson benefits enormously from his vast experience across every aspect of quarry production and management. He has worked at Stevenson in a range of roles for over 27 years at all of the current quarries, as well as past Stevenson quarries. He currently manages 85 staff across three quarries – Drury, Huntly and Kaiaua. Steve also oversees the transport division of Stevenson Resources.

The quarry industry as a whole has also received the benefit of Steve’s expertise. Steve is currently National President of NZIOQ (New Zealand Institute of Quarrying). He is also a Past Chairman of the Auckland branch of NZIOQ. He is a board representative on the AQA (Aggregate and Quarry Association) and a past executive board member for EXITO Training (Extractive Industries Training Organisation).
