Stevenson Laboratory is a highly regarded civil engineering materials testing facility. The laboratory is modern and spacious, offering continuous quality control testing and technical support to provide customers with results they can rely on.
Our bulk testing of aggregates, concrete, masonry, paving and soils help us to ensure that our customers’ products are consistent, more cost-effective and better engineered, resulting in a superior performance. This enables customers to add value to their products, increase prices or advance their product or production knowledge or plant efficiency.
We provide engineers and manufacturers with a degree of certainty on the products they’re using, so that they can have greater confidence in their performance. Our expertise is backed by over 30 years of proven industry experience. In 1975 we obtained IANZ accreditation (formally known as TELARC) and became one of the first independently certified civil engineering laboratories in New Zealand.
In recent years our laboratory has expanded to provide testing and technical support to major industrial clients and infrastructure projects, in addition to the Stevenson group of companies. Our mission is to provide value-added support and services to all of our customers.
We recruit and train only the highest quality staff. Our laboratory has become a sought-after training ground for bright young civil engineers and for technically minded people looking for work with an interesting mix of laboratory and onsite testing for construction and manufacturing customers.
The Stevenson Laboratory is based in Drury, south of the Auckland CBD
IANZ ACCREDITATION is formal recognition that a laboratory is capable of performing tests to the requirements of national and international standards for which it is registered. Results which carry the IANZ endorsement assure the customer that methods and laboratory practice satisfying the requirements have been used for the performance of the tests.
